Executive Assistant Role

Dowgate Wealth is on the lookout for an ambitious Executive Assistant with a fundamental understanding of the wealth management industry to join our team in London. The role is suitable for someone who is enthusiastic and will thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, professional, and forward-looking environment and someone who will be willing to assist with the strategic growth of the company.

You will work alongside our team of experienced Investment Directors, add value to our existing clients by way of communication and provide support to the wider team. We look after a diverse range of high-net-worth individuals and we have seen rapid growth from a start in September 2020 to September 2021, with £400 million discretionary AUM.

Job Description:

  • Telephone support, assisting with answering of emails, desk cover and assisting with day to day running of the business
  • Account onboarding and opening
  • Liaising with clients as part of the account set up process
  • Maintaining client databases
  • Supporting Investment Directors with diary management
  • Taking minutes from internal committee meetings (potentially external meetings too)
  • Drafting policy documents
  • Ad hoc support to the wider team
  • Adhering to the firm’s compliance and applicable laws, regulations and codes of conduct

The successful candidate:

  • Efficient, proactive and flexible
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to form strong working relationships
  • Good MS Office skills
  • Genuine desire to provide a high standard of communication and level of service to clients
  • You are engaging and able to connect with a wide array of audiences by phone, email and face to face contact
  • Fundamental understanding of the financial products & services we offer such as discretionary portfolio management, SIPP’s & ISA’s
  • Industry connections and an established network would be beneficial
